Save Scunthorpe...From time to time you think to yourself "Why do they continue to demolish every building and area in sight" Construction is happening everywhere but is making many towns untidy and such an eye sore. Greenland and ponds are scrapped to pave way for more construction. We agree we need more houses so why not use the brown land available. Scunthorpe has more shopping centres been built out of town, which then the shops in the town centre relocate within the new development site out of town, this however has a massive impact on the remaining shops in town resulting in less shoppers and more shops closing down.

This area used to be full of ramps and other obstacles and was actually made for kids and younger adults to use their skate boards and skates.
As you can see it is yet another local feature that has been ripped out, it's turned into a small car park.
Even if massive amounts of people didnt use the facilitie, at least it looked good for visitors and shows that we do have facilities available for the public to use.

We should all support children's facilities and play area's, this also includes local councils and governments. These great well used places give hours of fun to young children are becoming quite rare. These facilities mean a lot to you & your children and the next generation. It's also a big learning curve for our children and a boost for the local communities.
